Therapy for Adults
I work with adults across all stages of life, navigating a variety of concerns. You may be experiencing a life transition, coping with the loss of a loved one, healing from a recent breakup, exploring your identity or sense of purpose, or simply feeling overwhelmed and stuck in the day-to-day demands of life.
I can offer a space you need to explore who you are and what you want from your life, or simply a place to process what you’ve been through and begin to move forward. Whatever it is you need, I would love to be that support for you.Common Questions for Individual Therapy
-
The first session is focused on getting to know you. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, your relationships, and your personal history. I will meet you where you are, so we will move at a pace that feels right for you.
-
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and collaborative. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
-
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people seek short-term support during a specific life transition, while others benefit from longer-term therapy to work through deeper patterns or past experiences. Therapy is a collaborative experience, so we will determine together what timeframe works best for you.
-
Walk-and-talk therapy means that we meet on a trail out in the community and walk for our session. This is a great way to get time outdoors and enjoy some light exercise. I meet in one of two locations in Livermore for walk-and-talk.
-
Absolutely. I know that it can be hard to fit therapy into your schedule, and I hope to make the process easier for you.
