Experience

I graduated from Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in trauma. I have received training in Gottman Level 1 to support couples.

In my therapeutic work, I have experience in private practice settings working with clients in all age groups, supporting them through life transitions, parenting, grief, trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, postpartum, women’s health, ADHD, couples, and relationships.

I have worked in public school settings supporting adolescents with various struggles, including grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have also worked in schools as an ERMHS (Educationally Related Mental Health Services) therapist, providing support to adolescents on the autism spectrum, ADHD, trauma, and with learning challenges.

Before my work as a therapist -

I worked for six years as a Registered Behavior Technician working with children, adolescents, and adults on the Autism Spectrum. I have worked in crisis settings providing behavior support and coaching to the families and caregivers of neurodivergent children.

I have worked as an Infant Developmental Specialist, where I worked with ages 0-3 with developmental delays. It was during this time that I found my love of working with parents during the postpartum period. Then, as I went through my own pregnancy and postpartum, I learned how truly life-changing the experience is as a woman and as a parent, and my passion grew even more.

I am now pursuing the path to getting certified in perinatal mental health, so I can support more women and parents during the pregnancy and postpartum period.

Approach

My approach to therapy lies in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is the most important component to healing. I want you to feel safe and supported in our sessions together. At the beginning of sessions, my sole focus is on getting to know and understand you and what is important to you.

I move at a pace that feels right for you and meet you where you are in the moment. I tailor my approach to you individually and what feels right for you. My goal is to ensure that therapy feels collaborative and that we can work together on the right treatment plan and goals.
